A quinceañera is two shoots in one: a portrait session built entirely around the girl and the dress, and then a party that only happens once. They are photographed differently on purpose - the first is directed, the second is left alone.

The coverage runs the whole night: the entrance, the waltz, the toast, the changing of the shoes, and the part after the formalities when the room finally relaxes. That last hour is usually where the photographs the family keeps come from.

Shot bilingually, which matters more here than in any other category - the people being photographed are family, and being spoken to in their own language is the difference between a posed picture and a real one.
