A wedding is the one shoot that cannot be done again. There is no second take on the vows and no going back for the light at six o’clock. That is why the day is planned before it starts, and why there is never only one camera on the room.
Coverage runs from preparation through the reception: the ceremony, the portraits, the details that took months to choose, and the hours after dinner when people forget there is a photographer in the room. That last part is usually where the pictures people keep come from.
